Accidentally Vegan?!

I have accidentally become vegan. And I know what you are thinking. What do you mean accidentally became vegan? Well, let me explain… First what does it mean to be vegan? Do not eat anything that has a face. That means if something is a product of an animal do not eat it. Everyone has different reasons for becoming vegan, whether its for health, animal rights or just because you feel like it. I fit into the health category. I have been honest about my skin condition and what a struggle that is for me.

When I started to change my diet to see how that would or would not help my face the first thing I gave up was coffee. Caffeine is one of the main triggers for rosacea.  That was tough, caffeine is amazing but it needed to be done. The next thing was sweets, which means anything that contained a lot of sugar or really any added sugar. Lastly before giving up meat, I gave up dairy, and dairy this one was tough.  (I love ice cream, and cheese.) And now I have given up meat.

SO when I say I accidentally become vegan its because its was not my intention but just how changing my diet went.

How I became vegan is how I recommend becoming vegan. I would not suggest giving up everything at once, that will be overwhelming. Give up something one week and then the next week or 2 weeks later give up something else. If you do it all at once, you will be hungry and not sure what to eat. I am going to share some of my favorite products with you so that you can start your vegan journey.
