Last week I discovered that I have an egg intolerance, and what does that mean? That eating eggs like scrambled eggs or eggs over easy makes me ill. So! That made my breakfast options limited, and I had to find other things to eat and I want to share some of my favorite breakfasts with you!
Banana with almond butter.
I cut up one banana and drizzle a tablespoon of raw almond butter (4 grams of protein)
1/2 cup of cooked red quinoa (4 grams of protein) with organic Earth Balance whipped buttery spread and 1 tsp of organic maple syrup.
I use Purely Inspired vanilla protein powder and mix one scoop(20 grams of protein) with 9 to 10 oz of water. I have found that if you mix it with milk or even almond milk, it tastes too sweet. I would highly recommend using water, I also sometimes add blueberries and flaxseed. Buy here!

Oat flour pancakes
I found this recipe when I was researching oat pancakes. It is a great pancake recipe, my only suggestion would be to let the batter sit for about five minutes after mixing because it needs to thicken. Also, keep in mind the pancake is a little dense but still tastes YUMMY! Find the recipe here! I want to mention that the recipe calls for an egg but you could use an egg substitute or leave it out!
